Mobile Banking

The F&M Mobile Banking app is available to all F&M Online Banking customers. Accessing the F&M Mobile Banking app is easy-simply use the same online banking user ID and password you have established for F&M Online. If you are not already an F&M Online banking user, you must first register for online banking at www.fmbankandtrust.com.

F&M Bank and Trust does not charge a fee for online banking or mobile banking, but mobile service provider data fees may apply.



Mobile Text Banking

Mobile Text Banking allows you to quickly obtain balance or recent transaction information via SMS text messages. You can request this information for all enrolled accounts or for a specific account. Mobile text banking does not utilize a browser and it is FREE. **

Enrolling for Mobile Text Banking must be done through traditional online banking. If you are not already an F&M Online banking user, you must first register for online banking at www.fmbankandtrust.com.


You can access Mobile Text Banking by following these simple steps:

Step 1: Log into F&M Online

Step 2: Select Options > Mobile Settings > Text Mobile Banking.

Step 3: Enter mobile phone number, select mobile provider, select accounts to access via text, and create Mobile Short Name for each selected account. Click Submit.

Mobile Short Name is the name included in the text to request information for a specific account. Example: Texting Bal returns the balance of all accounts. Texting Bal Vacay returns only the balance of the account with Vacay as the mobile short name.

Once you are set up for Mobile Text Banking you will receive text message asking you to confirm your subscription for this service. You must reply YES. The text will come from 895-49. This is F&M Bank’s institution number. You may want to save this number in your phone for future use.


The following information can be received via text by entering in these commands:

  1. Bal =All Accounts Balance
  2. Bal Mobile Short Name = Single Account Balance
  3. Hist = All Accounts Recent History
  4. Hist Mobile Short Name = Single Account History
  5. Help = Commands
  6. Stop = Cancel

Mobile Check Deposit

Deposting checks is now faster and more simple than ever before.  Take advantage of mobile deposit from F&M and deposit checks at home or on the go!  Mobile deposit is:

  • Convenient - Use your smartphone to deposit checks anytime, anywhere
  • Easy - Tap the app, point your smartphone, snap a photo, and complete the deposit
  • Secure - Feel confident knowing mobile deposit is as safe as depositing checks at the bank
  • Free - Cut down on trips to the bank and save time and money with this free service

Get ready to deposit checks the incredibly quick and simple way!

  1. Download the F&M Bank Mobile App
    First, download the F&M Bank Mobile App from your device's app store.
  2. Log into the Mobile App
    Log in to the App using your online banking user ID and password.  Not enrolled in online banking?  Call our Customer Service department at (706) 846-8415 and enroll today. (First time users will accept terms and conditions, then select account.)
  3. Getting Started
    To get started, choose "Deposits", then tap "Deposit a Check"
  4. Take a Photo of the Front of the Check
    Tap the check front picture icon.  Your mobile device's camera will automatically turn on.  Place the check on a flat surface with a dark backgroun.  Have good lighting with no shadows so it stands out clearly.  Turn your mobile device sideways and make sure all four corners of the check fits inside the box.  Then tap the camera icon to take the picture.
  5. Review Your Check
    If you need to retake the photo, touch "Retake" and try again.
  6. Take a Photo of the Back of the Check
    Before photographing the back, be sure it is endorsed with your signature, and write "For Mobile Deposit Only" underneath.  Then you will need to capture the back of the check, using the same steps you did for the front.
  7. Enter the Amount
    Next, select "Check Amount" and enter the value of the check, then select "Done."
  8. Choose an Account
    Select the "Deposit to Account" field to choose which account you'd like to deposit your check into.
  9. Verify All Information
    Review all of the information.  If everything is correct, select "Deposit."
  10. Confirmation
    On the Confirmation screen, you will have the option to deposit another check.

After you complete your transaction, retain the check for two weeks after your deposit and then destroy it.  Please note that deposits made after 5pm will not post until the following business day.  Daily limits and count restrictions apply.  Please see the "i" in the top right corner of the "Make a Deposit" screen from your mobile app for limits.
